PSYKICK HOLIDAY

PSYKICK HOLIDAY are the premium purveyors of the exciting music genre ‘Pop Noir’. Why are they the top band in the genre? Quite simply the creator of this music genre in the early 90's is the cult record producer, songwriter and punk 'cellist Russell C. Writer (aka Russell C. Brennan). Russell is the main driving force in the band. Joannaa T (below left) is his talented singer.

Russell originally made his name as songwriter & producer of cult artist Eleanor Rigby and was in influential bands Ministry of Ska & Box Office Poison. He also was behind a series of innovative and alternative cult theme releases championing new and unsigned artists which spanned theme tunes from the '60s to the '80s. These albums also helped revive the careers of a few million-selling artists. He was recently listed as one of the top 20 most innovative record producers of all time. Psykick Holiday is his most recent incarnation into the world of Pop Noir music, following closely on the heels of previous pop band Box Office Poison. Psykick Holiday have previously released three tracks. Their tracks A View to a Kill  and The James Bond Theme were on the album The Themes Bond..... James Bond (the Alternative James Bond Themes).

The bands next release was the 4 track dance orientated EP Sex on the Internet featuring 7" & 12" mixes & French and Russian versions of the tracks. This track was not as rude as you may have thought. It is more about how we have been drawn into online dating.
